Crighton “went to the site of the potential altercation,” or you know, he just ran back to his dugout.

I understand he could have taken a slightly different angle, but what about the Florida player that turned from his path to his dugout and made the comment to Crighton that got him fired up? He was the one that first diverted his normal path.

1) UF pitcher gets in the running lane & gets hit

2) UF pitcher shoves back after play is over

3) UF’s dugout players crossed the foul line

4) UF in field leaves their positions to head to first base

5) Clemson player ejected for running to his dugout

The play and the call at first base was the third out of the inning. Crighton was making the turn at third and either saw the call or heard it from his third base coach. He was just jogging back to the dugout. Horrible call!!!!!!!

Can you say umpire hat job any louder! It was 12 vs 9 all game. And I tried all game to defend the umpires without bias.

Terrible game management and officiating by umpiring crew. Neff should demand they not be allowed to work any games at Clemson in the future.

their cool earlier. strike zone stretched seemed like all game and especially as the game went on.. you could tell the plate ump was ready to go home toward the end. And they seemed extremely cordial to the UF team and coaching staff in those climatic situations and I'm usually not a blame it all on the ump guy but there was a definite feeling of lopsided attention. But at the end of the day that UF team just had too many hitters. And that was going to be a tough team to beat even if we played today. But walking too many batters was our downfall. You can't put people on base with the amount of pop that those UF batters have. But the strike zone and the incessant attention and warnings for our team seemed to put those coaches over the edge and justifiably so.
