I knew the tears would flow when we were set up to be in the playoffs with a bye just about every year!
We’ll be healthy and ready to win when these beat teams face us in the playoffs.
This could be the best case scenario for Clemson in the long run.
Let them feel sorry for us but they better be ready when they face us in the playoffs.
It will be Ohio state-Michigan or Alabama-Georgia we’ll have to beat in the playoffs, hopefully they are hurting from the tuff competition, this could be easy street for Clemson, just keep winning.

How long do you think Alabama will be happy to pay Vandy’s bills or any or the other big market SEC teams? Or how about OSU paying for Indiana as an example?
I would be very surprised if in the long term there’s not a more significant change in the landscape where big market teams get tired of subsidizing even in the SEC or the BIG for their bottom dwellers. If they were a business (which is what it’s turning into even more so) a business won’t accept leaving millions on the table so that everyone in the conference has equal media share…..
