If Georgia loses to Texas and Tennessee or Ole Miss, it might be difficult to keep them in the 12 team playoff.
A 3 loss SEC team would probably have to be picked over some 1 and 2 loss power 4 teams.
Lots of football left to be played, but I think this is a real possibility.

Oh, with 3 losses they will most definitely be picked above power 4 teams with 2 losses and a huge chance they’d be picked ahead of 1 loss P4 teams not in the $EC.

UGA would probably still be ranked in the top 10 with three losses, the SEC gets a pass on losses, like a mulligan in golf.

Texas, Tenn, Tex AM, Ole Miss , Alabama would only have 2 losses and would trump UGA for the 5 SEC automatic bids.

Imagine this scenario...

Texas is SEC Champs
Alabama has 2 losses
Tennessee has 2 losses
LSU has 2 losses
Georgia has 3 losses
Ole Miss has 3 losses

ACC
Clemson runs the table and finishes with 1 loss and ACC champs
Miami finishes with 1 loss (ACC title)
SMU finishes with 1 loss (BYU, lose a tie-breaker and do not play in ACCCG)
