The games on radio were alot more exciting with Pete and Will behind the mic, just saying, " Theres ORANGE in the endzone"

Don Munson is not nearly at the same level as Yannity.
Don..."so that will bring up 3rd...and let's call it...6 yards.
What?! How bout call it what it is. Or at least pretend to know.

At least hearing that phrase was better than listening to the CLOWN calling our games now. Munson is really going to the bottom of the bucket when it comes to Play by Play people.

Then you sir do not have the passion of Clemson in your veins, if you didn't get excited waiting on that line being delivered. I loved hearing "there's orange in the endzone" and hopefully someday they will bring Yanity and Merritt back.

That he got rid of a Pro (Yannity) for Munson.
Total lack of professionalism is now in the radio booth.

I really do miss the yanity post games in traffic after home games.

Munson sounds like a stuttering 12 year old. They did Pete yanity dirty and Will quit to show his disapproval. Anyone who says Munson is a step up or even on common ground is lying to themselves. But this is just the way the world works, brown nose long and hard enough and it will get you somewhere.

I really miss hearing Yanity and Merritt.
Munson is not a play-by-play guy. Listening to him is the equivalent of going in for dental work.

I go to the games but miss the highlights in the car of Yanity's calls. I listen to the postgame interviews and turn off the radio now it's so bad.

I can't even watch "The Dabo Swinney Show" now no matter how hard I try. Don Munson just looks like he rolled out of a car and threw on whatever clothes were lying around. He just doesn't sound nor look professional at all. They lost a lot of class when Peter Yanity was let go.

Good for Pete and Will! Here's one example of how tough the current offering is for me: 570 WWNC is the local NC State affiliate... I switched over from 93.3 to WWNC to listen to a professional broadcast during our beloved Tigers rout of the Pack. Even in a beat-down they did a great job.

Don Munson will never be a Larry Munson. Hate to say it as a Tiger fan, but he's the best I ever heard.

I'll take Jim Phillips over Larry Munson any day. I'm biased. Freely admit it.
Also, I like "homer" broadcasters for college teams. No need to be impartial like in the pros.
Clemson deserves better than what we have now.

Rodney Williams is my hero.
I don't have an opinion on this Munson character , but so far he seems talking is not the problem , it is accurately describing what he is looking at and then translating that to those of us listening to him do his job on the radio. Good thing they put Rodney in the booth with him , because he seems to need a buddy .

that Munson will move to ESPN and do t.v. gigs???? I would be really pleased to hear "There's orange in the end zone " about six times every Saturday. One of Clemsons dumbest moves ..imo
