The pace of all this is advantage ACC. It’ll be 2036 before any of this is decided.

Don’t really see how this secured home court. Still have a parallel case going on in NC. If the two cases result in different outcomes it will just drag on. But that’s how lawyers and our court system works. The longer it stays in court, the more money they all make.

Riiiiiiight. This mess is the fault of legal counsel representing Clemson and the ACC yesterday. The relevant parties are the boss and can drop their claims anytime they see fit. Be happy that everyone has the rule of law and due process in this country. Without that, everything falls apart.

I will be hoping that Clemson comes out on top with the suit they filed against the Atlantic Coast Conference. I also hope that the suit the ACC brought against Clemson will end up being dismissed entirely. I'm actually praying for a win, win totally for our Clemson Tigers...
I feel that all the money that Clemson has shared from FB winnings bc FB is the highest paid in all of collegiate sports. But there has never been any real pressure from conference leaders for its member school to pursue a much higher level with its FB programs if nothing else, at least try to compete for one of the top 5 spots within the ACC, and to do that they would have to spend near as much as Clemson/FSU does to compete at the highest level in all of college FB... Most ACC member schools spend the bare minimum to win in the highest paid sport in college FB, and with that being the facts about the ACC basketball first oriented schools, IMO, none of those schools should have a problem with the FB first schools wanting to be a FB first conference. In fact, it's my opinion that the basketball first schools should petition the ACC to lower the exit cost for FB first schools like Clemson and FSU, All that agree say I!!!

The important thing to take from this story is the battle will be long.

Or maybe, Clemson states the University isn’t going to the Big 12, because that would be stupid. Clemson is right on point with the ACC.

and/or collectively telling SEC, B1G and ACC conference commissioners and universities how they shall proceed and how & when conference TV rights will be enacted in the future, IMHO will cut these court cases short.
It has been widely reported ESPN can cancel the ACC TV contract in its entirety as early as 2026. This action would effectively end all GOR discussions and court proceedings. Accordingly, it is reasonable to expect these proceedings are more likely to end in backroom negotiations than a court room decision.

I don't think they actually tell them what to, but I believe they let what they want to be known and what they would pay if those teams were in whatever conference they support...
