Dabo's Dilemma
Nov 9, 2015, 2:49 PM
|
|
Since the Cuse coach got his panties in a wad two years ago in the sweltering Carrier Dome when we were trying to score points before the half, at what point in the first quarter do we begin taking a knee so as not to offend?
This is all part of the burden of being the coach of the number one team in the country.

Preemptive strike... take a knee on the first play. Then blow the doors off them.

Fake the kneel throw it deep right before half.
(or is there a rule about that)

actually you can fake the knee, as long as the knee doesn't touch the ground

You can then chunk it deep...we had a fake knee deep pass trick play in HS, worked well as couple of times

Cuse came within ten points of beating the number two team in the mighty SEC so we will be lucky to stay within 50 points of them. Will be an epic beat down by the urangemen. #theyskrong

Video it and post it on YouTube, TigerNet, and the 'Cuse website before the game. Then go kick the crap out of them.

blowing out a baseball (youth) team in an - get this - All Star Tournament. - had the whole bench playing, held all runners to singles, - and still won like 52-0...in 4 innings. Tourney directors, etc piling on me...
BS - it was a freakin tournament and by god we were gonna win.
Get this - format....pool play Tie Breaker 1 - runs allowed. incentive - pitch your best and hold to 0. Tie Breaker 2 - runs scored. - what, you want me to tell 12 yr olds not to hit?
and I am the bad guy -
pour the juice on and don't back off - we're in a different game now.

for the record the opposing parents all told me that

they understood - I had my boys jacked to win the tourney - they did -
but oddly enough, we were about an out from getting into that tie breaker senerio against our rival (we would have won the tie breaker) -
hence and forever more I despise 'Pool Play Format' - see me post next stupid ACC Baseball tourney for more.

deep down the roster because we only bring 75 players on the road, so I expect this game is going to be ugly regardless of Dabo's compassion.

It's easy score about 42 in first half, let Bryant play the second half wide open. You never know if DW were to get hurt KB needs all PT he can get.

he knows who he is, who clemson is, and where he's taking this program..he is also an organizational genius and has a plan in place for virtually every aspect of clemson football..there aint much, imo, that dabo doesn't already have a better answer than i could arrive at.
and he and schaefer long ago buried that butter knife.

Blow em out the water. They practice just like the Tigers do. If their D can't stop Deshaun and co. then that's their fault. Recruit better, practice harder, keep up. This is big boy football.
