shot, which is normally either from left center field looking towards home plate, or RIGHT BEHIND HOME PLATE...would start out from left center field, but before the pitch was thrown, would switch to the first base dugout, AND YOU WOULD SEE THE BALL CROSS THE PLATE AT A RIGHT ANGLE TO THE BATTER. Then, if contact was made,you had to make your own assessment of WHERE YOU THOUGHT THE BALL WAS HEADED....I KID YOU NOT....
WORST BROADCAST IN HISTORY,IMHO.

I fully agree the video broadcast was so poor you are lucky to see a clip of the walkoff hr.
The dancing on the mound was pretty obnoxious and based on the terrible camera work focusing on the wrong people, it did look like the umpires gave him at least one, and perhaps multiple warnings.
I also know the coot with the tying hr in the ninth got a long warning for stopping at the plate and doing his best Mr Olympia posing routine.
Made the walkoff that much sweeter.

Let’s be fair.. Cam acted like an absolute fool walking to second on his double. Hinderleider carried is bat all the way down the line after us homer in the 8th and he and Nawrocki danced and stomped on the plate.
Pitchers dancing is definitely a new thing, but these batters over the last few years across the country have gotten out of hand.

The coot catcher (cootcher?….) was just as arrogant as the pitcher. There was a lot of chirping going on between the teams. Several times umpires stood between players.
