… but when you only have 2 out of 16 (13%) shots on goal, you’re not going to win many games. Get that percentage up to 50% and it will change our season significantly…

This is the same pattern as last year, so it can be turned around.

We have the talent to do that, the players just need a little more composure, precision, and focus.

The momentum seemed to turn when we scored their own goal. Such a fantastic block just to get the unlucky bounce. Plus we were playing futbol and Stanford was playing football.

Thought GOAT coach said it right in his presser, a lot we can take from this game. But a huge shoutout to our fans. It was electric the whole night!!! Stanford had to be impressed.

I was there, it was an electric atmosphere and a fun time except for the outcome. I was not at all impressed with the officiating. Guy let Stanford get away with way too aggressive play, halted the game a lot to go to LONG reviews and then inevitably reversed calls in Stanford's favor.

I presume the Cardinal were impressed with the crowd. Stanford averages a little over 800 for home soccer matches.

Congrats new ACC school #5 Stanford taking down my ex Clemson Tigers. They visited BJ Harris at the White House so I turned to SMU Mens Soccer ⚽️ fan still love Lady Tiger Soccer team.
