You would do the exact same thing if you were about to hand off executive power to someone who has made it known that he intends to seek retribution against his political opponents for perceived slights.
Where's this attitude towards the blanket pardons and commutations of over 1500 people who stormed the capital in an attempt to overturn an election that didn't go their way based on the unsubstantiated claims of a known liar?

I keep holding out hope that one day you'll realized you're being conned by a man who cares about no one but himself and nothing but his wallet just because he hates the same people you hate. We all lost. These proposed policies are going to hit all of our wallets. Some of us just see it coming before it actually happens. Two years from now when prices on consumer goods are higher than ever while corporate profits surge I'm interested to hear how you manage to blame the democrats.
Then again maybe Trump won't actually implement tariffs or deport cheap labor. You never really know when he says something he means given his complete and utter allergy to objective truth and reality.

Everything costs more because a global pandemic disrupted supply chain and workforces across the world and kicked off a global inflationary period. It literally would not have mattered what party was in control over the last 4 years, prices were going to reflect the global economic situation. This is not a uniquely American issue nor uniquely the result of Biden's economic policies.
Inflation has since stabilized to near pre-pandemic levels. And instead of attempting to curb price increases by working to limit corporate price gauging, we now have a president who wants to implement tariffs and deport a cornerstone of cheap labor in the country. The cost to produce items will rise dramatically and push us back into an inflationary spiral we've just crawled out of. This isn't rocket science. It's basic economics and something every single independently respected economist has warned about.

They can drink the kool-aid all they want. If Trump succeeds in implementing his stated economic and immigration policies the prices for consumer goods are not going to lie. You cannot make things more expensive to produce and also reduce the costs. And I know what the argument against will be some form of "buying American products" and "cost to produce will be less because of deregulation". But both of the rely on corporations being good actors which time and time again has been shown to be untrue.
I am morbidly curious how they'll manage to blame the democrats when it happens though.
