ACC keeps shooting itself in the foot... and leg... and neck

and now it's basically bleeding out...
Duke's meltdown loss to Northwestern and subsequent beatdown of Ga Tech means the Coastal can't beat anyone but themselves and is little more than Zombies in uniform cannibalizing itself.
Wake Forest has lost to every bad team in America, somehow losing to Indiana at home today.
UNCheat's loss to USuCk looks like it might 1 of only 2 win the Coots get all year. Marquise should be made to play OT the rest of the year once they get on the red zone just because.
I have no more sympathy for these idiots anymore. Screw Swofford and his basketball conference.
They need to be told, "Either man up or go join the frickin' MAC". No.. no... no... on 2nd thought, just send them on their ### way.

Or UVa. Or Duke. Or Pitt. I pull for Clemson, not a conference.

Tell me, when was the last time there were 5 undefeated teams?

Like the '30s? 'Cause that's what it would take for one to get left out of the playoff

And if those teams were good, would I want them to win or lose?
Conference strength is an illusion created by sports media that need something to discuss. In reality all conferences have a few good teams, a few mediocre teams, and a few horrible teams. It has pretty much been that way my whole life.
In 1981 we won all our games and finished #1 despite being in a putrid ACC conference. If we go undefeated in 2015 you better believe we will finish #1 again.

undefeated. It becomes a problem if we win the ACC CG, but are 12-1. Why is that so had for some of you to understand.

In a situation where we would have to put our resume up against another 12-1 team, a lot more will come into play than how Wake played against Indiana. Tell me what our wins and losses were. How do we look with the "eye test" (the REAL reason FSU was the #3 seed last year, not the conference)? What did the other 12-1 teams do all season?
Mississippi moved up the polls so fast because they murdered complete cupcakes. Apparently strength of schedule doesn't really mean all that much when you are 2-0 and scored 70 against NE Illinois Tech.

out of the playoff. The ACC being perceived as the weakest conference, does not help us a damm bit.

SC jr should start pulling it's weight & win SEC games. Wish we could drop those bottom feeders

And pick up Arkansas or Kentucky so we'd have a 3rd game to point to this yr.

This conference thing started when the SEC was trying to make sure they got a team in the championship game once Auburn was left out even though they were undefeated

morans....
I just want the rest of this god-forsaken conference to quit killing our SOS....
or better yet we'll wait until we go 12-1 this year and are sitting where Baylor and TCU sat last year,
and you guys get all mad because you finally caught up to what's going on....
laughable... don't they teach reading comprehension anymore?

If Baylor or TCU had not lost then they wouldn't have been left out. You want a back door to the playoffs - a scenario where we can lose and still lay claim to one of the 4 spots. What kind of mentality is that? I say that if we lose then our fate deserves to be in the hands of the committee rather than some argument about who our opponents beat.

Hm. Can a similar argument be made for the SEC. Arky/Jax St

Anyone?
Just glad I'm not an SC jr fan. I'd be ashamed by the manner in which the UCF game played out.
And the UNC game was similar to Dustin Johnson's 3 putt starting out 8 ft from the cup to hand Spieth the Open Championship.
