Height: 6-3   Weight: 185   Hometown: Rock Hill, SC (Northwestern HS)   Class: 2005
ESPN: NR

Jamie Robinson is the top corner in the state of South Carolina this year. He has dwindled his numerous offers down to the final five. His final five are as follows: Florida State, Clemson, Virginia Tech, Penn St., and NC State. Robinson shared what he liked about each school.

Florida State: "I have always liked them growing up. When I went down there, I was very impressed by their facilities. Coach Bowden is a great coach, who really knows the game."

Clemson: "When I went to Clemson I was impressed by them. I liked their whole coaching staff. I have a good relationship with Coach Blackwell who is recruiting. He seems like a really nice guy. The whole staff seems like nice people. Their facilities were nice too."

Virginia Tech: "They are the one school that I need to get in touch with more. I am attracted to them, because they have a really good psychology program."

Penn State: "I have only talked to them once. The coach that is recruiting me is a pretty good guy. I want to find out more about their program."

NC State: "They were one of the first ones to be involved with me. I have kept my eye on them. I believe I could play early there."

Robinson may not take all five of his official visits, but says if he does these will be the five. FSU is the only one that he says he will definitely make an official with.

"I would say FSU is my leader right now."

A couple of weeks ago Robinson scrimmaged another top player in South Carolina, CJ Byrd.

"We were able to hold him to only one catch. The one catch was a 52 yard touchdown though. I went man on man with him a couple of times, and knocked the ball down. He is really good player though. He can play on both sides of the ball."
