From AJC:
What’s next for Lawson? He will meet on Monday with new Auburn defensive line coach Rodney Garner, who famously passed on Lawson when he was UGA’s recruiting coordinator. Garner has been trying to build a relationship over the last three weeks with Lawson, who is still listed as an Auburn commit. “It’s a work in progress,” said Lawson, who added that his son will “definitely” take an official visit next weekend with the [Auburn] Tigers. Clemson coach Dabo Swinney also has an in-home visit with Lawson this week, probably on Wednesday.
Asked if Lawson would try to reschedule for North Carolina, the elder Lawson said, “I’m not sure about that. We’re kind of running out of time.”
