4-star 2015 defensive back Mook Reynolds from Greensboro, N.C. reaffirmed his commitment to Virginia Tech at a press conference on Thursday night.
Reynolds had been committed to Virginia Tech since the beginning of February. Since then, the Hokies have had a very disappointing season going 6-6 on the season and he had reopened his recruitment. However, he decided to commit to Virginia Tech again and sign his national letter of intent for Virginia Tech. He will now be a mid-year enrollee for the Hokies. The 4-star DB has offers from Clemson, Duke, Georgia, East Carolina, Michigan, Mississippi, North Carolina, Notre Dame, Tennessee, Virginia Tech and others. He is a physical defensive back with range and quickness and also has good ball skills and does well on run support. He also could be a valuable player with dynamic play-making skills. Reynolds being a versatile player is truly an understatement. He has logged time at Northern Guilford at quarterback, running back, linebacker, wide receiver and cornerback. As a junior, he had 80 tackles, 13 tackles for loss and three interceptions. He also rushed for 234 yards and a touchdown at the running back position and caught 46 passes for 639 yards and 12 touchdowns as a receiver. His brother Jeremy is a defensive back at Texas Tech.
