In a weekend most Tiger fans would like to forget, some good news came in Sunday. James Davis, after returning from Clemson Saturday night, has announced he has a new leader.

"I would say Clemson is on top right now. I am going to try and make it up to Tennessee next weekend for the Florida game."

Davis has a very strong relationship with his recruitor Coach Burton Burns.

"I got there early, so I talked with Coach Burns a lot. It went really well. I always have had a great relationship with Coach Burns, because he was the first one to offer me."

Before last night, Davis had never attended a college game before. He was more than impressed by the atmosphere at Clemson.

"It was great. I liked it up there a lot. I was talking with the players before the game during warmups. I liked it when they ran down the Hill. The cannon scared me a little, I didn't know where it was coming from. The crowd was wild. They stayed in it the whole game."
