4-star 2018 wide receiver Jacob Copeland from Pensacola, Florida (Pine Forest HS) has Clemson in the lead for his recruitment according to a
recent interview with ESPN.
"Right now, I have Clemson, Florida, Auburn, Miami and North Carolina at the top," Copeland said. “But Clemson, they are set high for me. I just love their passing game and the way they throw the ball around. I would say Clemson is my leader." Copeland knows Clemson gets the ball to their playmakers and has a great reputation churning out high-profile receivers to the NFL. "Clemson, that’s ‘Wide Receiver U’. They have like five receivers on the field at once, they are going to throw the ball around a lot," Copeland said. "I have a good relationship with (offensive coordinator) Coach Jeff Scott. He just told me that I have a good skill set and he said if I just come in and work that I have a guarantee that I can come in and start." Copeland has offers from Alabama, Arizona, Auburn, Buffalo, Clemson, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, LSU, Miami, Michigan, Mississippi, Mississippi State, North Carolina, North Carolina State, Ohio State, Oregon, Oregon State, South Alabama, Tennessee, UCF and West Virginia. Clemson offered on 5/5/16. I'm the #1 WR in the state of Florida. Don't argue with me. I can care less about how someone else rank me. My perspective matters. ??????????
