Crezdon Butler went on record with Clemson as his leader very early. He quickly cooled after a flood of offers, but Clemson has remained very high on his list.

"I stay in contact with Clemson. Clemson, North Carolina, and NC State are probably my top schools right now. I have a very good relationship with Coach Hobby. He is straight up with me, and has been recruiting me a long time."

Is Butler closing in on a decision?

"I am still gathering information. I feel a lot more confident about the schools I am looking at now than I did a month ago. A month ago I had no clue how strong the engineering programs at Clemson and NC State were."

Butler has emerged to be one of the top prospects in North Carolina for 2006, in what is a very good year for North Carolina. Clemson is still in very good shape with Butler, and we will track him very closely during the summer.
