Crownover was selected in the sixth round of the 2015 MLB draft by the Washington Nationals and has advanced as high as Double-A (2017). The Ringgold, Georgia product was the 2015 ACC pitcher of the year after leading the conference with a 10-1 record and a 1.42 ERA in the regular season.
