Baker placed on DL after injuring himself high-fiving |
From ESPN:
Baker, batting .317 with nine home runs and 16 RBIs, is day to day. He leads the majors in home runs, slugging percentage and OPS against left-handers. The 31-year-old did not identify the teammate who gave out the high-five. "The teammate was a little over-excited, for whatever reason," Baker said. "It bent my thumb back. It is what it is. It's unfortunate. We'll deal with it and move on." Rangers have dugout sense of humor in trying to avoid another Jeff Baker incident. pic.twitter.com/yBT4EJySqC
