BEFORE CLEMSON: Played at Dutchess Community College in 2008, where he was coached by Steve Greller...played at Iona in 2007, where he was 1-1 with an 8.20 ERA in 18.2 innings pitched over six appearances (two starts); he did not allow a stolen base in three attempts...all-state, all-conference, and all-section selection along with earning section MVP honors as a senior at Our Lady of Lourdes High School...had a 23-3 record and over 200 strikeouts in his high school career...member of the state championship team as a senior...member of the AAU national championship team...lettered three times at Our Lady of Lourdes High, where he was coached by Greller.
