Was born in Newport News, VA--but grew up in Waynesboro, Virginia (just outside of Charlottesville). Graduated from Wilson Memorial High in 1983. Played all sports, volleyball, basketball and ran track. Played for the Virginia AAU basketball team for 4 years, going to Nationals every year!!!! Decided to attend Clemson (my father- Tiger Tom Tallahassee- graduated from there) and loved every minute of it!!!! While going to school, I worked for the Intramural department refereeing (sp?) all sports (if you call that working!). I was a member of Delta Gamma. When I came to Clemson, I knew no one on campus----but eventually made lots of friends and still tailgate with my room-mate from Clemson (Cat Griffin Callahan) and her family (IMATIGER)!!! After finishing Clemson, moved to Tallahassee, and have worked with the City of Tallahassee since. Married to Michael Meeks ( a Nole) and we have 2 daughters, Brittney(8) and Lindsey(4).
