Relocated to Seneca from Asheville the summer of 2001 when my son, then an upcoming high school senior in Asheville decided he wanted to attend Clemson University. He applied as an out of state student but it was when he received his acceptance letter that he decided he was wasn't waiting until graduation, he was moving before he started his senior year and would graduate from Seneca thus sealing the deal as an in-state student. We already had a small place on Lake Keowee and loved spending weekends on the Lake so it was an easy decision for all of us. Attending Clemson University was a wonderful experience for my son and his father and I enjoyed it from the side lines. He now lives in Atlanta, but we all still have orange in our blood. Come to all the games and still enjoy the lake.
