4-star running back and high priority Clemson target Ray Ray McCloud McCloud has been a national recruit with over 45 offers and projects as an explosive slot receiver for the Tigers and also could be used on special teams. This is a another Florida recruiting gem hauled in by Swinney and the rest of the Clemson coaching staff. Young running backs coach Tony Elliot played a pivotal role in the commit of the young star athlete. McCloud's father told TigerNet last week about Elliot: "Coach Elliot really got him going on Clemson," he said. He's been recruiting him hard. He knows that he would be happy there. The atmosphere of the place. It's a great school. The love of the city and the school." As a junior, he rushed for 2316 yards and had 26 rushing touchdowns and also had 9 catches for 192 yards and a score.
