"It's been a long journey full of many trials and tribulations," Williams said in the video. "I just want to thank God, my family and my friends for keeping me humble and on track throughout this process. Thank you to the great institutions who have recruited me. But in the end, there can only be one." Williams is rated as the No. 3 defensive tackle in the nation by 247Sports. He joins the No. 2-rated DT in a commitment at Clemson, with Hartsville (S.C.)'s Demonte Capehart. Previous predictions for Williams' college destination were all to Ohio State, per 247Sports' Crystal Ball. He is a second four-star commitment for the Tigers Saturday, joining Carrollton, Georgia OLB Kevin Swint. Clemson has jumped from sixth to fourth in the 2020 class rankings according to 247Sports.
