Clemson has offered 4-star 2019 cornerback Kaiir Elam from North Palm Beach, Florida (The Benjamin School) on Wednesday according to his Twitter account.
"Blessed Beyond Measures to have earned an offer from The Clemson University Tigers," Elam posted. Clemson defensive coordinator Brent Venables and defensive backs coach Mike Reed are recruiting Elam for the Tigers. The talented defender has national offers from Auburn, Central Florida, Clemson, Duke, Florida, Florida Atlantic, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisville, Marshall, Miami, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, North Carolina State, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Oregon, Penn State, Pittsburgh, South Carolina, South Florida, Stanford, Syracuse, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Virginia Tech, and Wisconsin. As a sophomore, Elam had 39 receptions for 570 yards and five touchdowns while registering three interceptions on defense. It's been a busy few days for Elam, who earned an invitation to The Opening finals at a regional event in Miami last weekend and he also got the nod for the U.S. Army All-American game on Tuesday. He has football bloodlines as his father was former Notre Dame safety Abram Elam.
