4-star 2016 wide receiver Diondre Overton from Greensboro, N.C. released his top 5 schools on Friday according to his twitter account.
His top schools included Clemson, Nebraska, Tennessee, NC State and North Carolina. Overton told TigerNet after the Dabo Swinney Football Camp in early April that "Clemson hasn't moved anywhere." "They've been at the top since day one and since I visited there," Overton said. "Clemson has made a big impression." In 2014, he had 70 catches for over 1200 yards and 11 touchdowns. Overton has early offers from Boston College, Clemson, Duke, East Carolina, Kentucky, Louisville, Michigan, Nebraska, North Carolina, North Carolina State, South Carolina, Wake Forest, West Virginia and Old Dominion. Clemson offered on 12/8/14. However, he is also being recruited by several schools on the basketball court. Virginia Tech was the first school to offer him a basketball scholarship.
