playing on a torn ACL injury.

Boyd played with a torn ACL his senior season at Phoebus High and remarkably led his team to a state championship in 2009. He was also the co-MVP of the 2009 U.S. Army All-American Bowl. Boyd had surgery immediately after the All-Star game and began his rehab to start his pilgrimage to Clemson.

"The one thing that these people have totally failed to recognize is the fact that there was a mutual decision as whether he would play." Boyd blogged.

"In life period and especially this day in age, no one forces you to do anything that you don’t want to do. You get wise counsel and you make with it what you want. If you’ve seen Deshaun play this season, you can see how special of a player he is and will continue to be, the life that comes to the team, and the calmness that he brings to fans and players alike. The decision to play with a torn ligament can be stressful at times and I’ve been in a very similar situation."

If anyone knows what Watson has been going through emotionally and physically in the last few weeks, it would clearly be Mr. Boyd.
