signed a four-year, $16 million contract with the New Orleans Saints back in March during free agency.

The highest running back contract during free agency was DeMarco Murray and his enormous $40 million contract with the Eagles and next was Mark Ingram with a 4-year contract worth $16 million.

Spiller received the third-highest contract-worth for running backs in this year's free agency according to overthecap.com. The website values Ingram's deal to be worth $11.96 million and Spiller's deal at $11.31 million.

Its formula to predict a contract's worth is salary cap space, dead money, a player's age and other factors to predict how much of the contract will be fulfilled. It predicts that Ingram has a 26% chance to finish out his contract while Spiller has a 31% chance to finish out his deal.

Spiller rushed 668 times for 3,321 yards (5,550 all-purpose yards) and 12 touchdowns during his time with the Bills. During an injury-shortened 2014 season (broken collarbone), Spiller had 78 rushes for 300 yards and also had 19 catches for 125 yards and a touchdown. His best season came in 2012 when he had an impressive 1,703 total yards and a career-high 8 touchdowns. He was drafted by the Bills with the 9th overall pick in the 2010 NFL draft.
