Christian Wilkins injury update

Christian Wilkins injury update

by - Assoc. Editor -

Clemson defensive lineman Christian Wilkins was injured in the third quarter against Boston College.

Wilkins was seen on the bench with an ice pack around his left ankle area. He was able to walk back to the locker room on his own power.

Update: Wilkins is currently in a walking boot but was seen in a good mood after the game.

Update 2: Swinney said during his postgame press conference that Wilkins is in a boot but should be fine. He also said that Mike Williams tweaked the upper part of his hamstring but could've played if needed. Ryan Carter is banged up but should be OK. Swinney doesn't think any of these injuries were serious.

Wilkins was able to get a sack in front of over 90 friends and family members that were at the game.
