WATCH: Trevor Lawrence on the competitive QB battle

by - Assoc. Editor -

Clemson freshman quarterback Trevor Lawrence spoke with the media about the quarterback competition with senior signal-caller Kelly Bryant.

"It's been really good," he said. "It's definitely made me better and I think it has made Kelly Bryant a lot better too just us competing. We have a really good relationship so it's been really good for us and the team."

Lawrence enjoyed his first live action inside Death Valley.

"It was awesome," he said. "I’ve been waiting on it for a while [and have] been practicing hard. It [was] good to finally get out there."

Lawrence passed for 137 yards and three touchdowns in his Tigers' debut.
