WATCH: Swinney on 'ignorance' around response to Davis twins signing |
Clemson coach Dabo Swinney spoke to the media for his weekly press conference on Tuesday and shared his thoughts on the response to J.D. Davis and Judah Davis signings back in 2014.
"Isn't it awful some of the comments that young people have to put up with because of ignorance and people's own agendas," Swinney said. "It's sad. It really is and those people know who they are. Judgemental, that's the world we live in." Swinney had scouted the Davis twins most of their life since he was neighbors with them. "I've watched these guys grow up. They were my neighbors," Swinney said. "I've watched them grow up. Sometimes you see things other people don't see. We don't have two better winners on this team than J.D and Judah Davis and they earned their opportunity here." J.D. Davis led Clemson in tackles (11) in the 31-17 road win over Virgina Tech.
