Two former Clemson football players arrested |
Two former Clemson football players were arrested Wednesday afternoon on charges of armed robbery and possession of a weapon during the commission of a crime.

Jadar Johnson and former Duke defensive tackle Quaven Ferguson are the three are accused of robbing someone at gunpoint in an apartment in downtown Clemson.
As first reported by WSPA, police were called to the scene at around 4 p.m. Wednesday. According to the Clemson Police Department, the three are accused of knocking on the victim’s door and forcing their way inside when the victim opened the door. The suspects are accused of taking cash and a cell phone. They are being held in the Clemson City Jail awaiting a bond hearing. Fuller entered the 2017 season as the starting running back for the Tigers and started three games. He rushed for 217 yards with three touchdowns but announced his intentions to transfer for the 2018 season in February. Johnson was a starter on Clemson's National Championship team and was signed by the New York Giants as an undrafted free agent. He retired shortly after camp started, but worked out at Clemson's Pro Day a few weeks ago in hopes of returning to the NFL. He started 17 games during his career with 106 tackles and nine interceptions. Ferguson, who is from Easley, played his first three seasons at Duke. Ferguson announced in January that he was leaving Duke’s team. Update 3/29/18 10:30 AM - All three appeared before a judge in Clemson on Thursday morning. Bond was set at 25k each. - Each must wear GPS monitoring and can not leave the state. - They can not have any contact with the victim. - Their first court date is set for May 17 at 8:30 AM.
