Former Clemson running back CJ Fuller passed away Wednesday afternoon at the age of 22.
Fuller compiled 599 yards and four touchdowns through three seasons. He transferred from the team following the 2017 season. The Clemson family, former teammates, and media members reacted to the devastating news on the passing of Fuller. TigerNet.com would like to give out our most heartfelt sympathies to the family and friends of C.J. Fuller. My heart breaks for the Clemson family tonight as well. Prayers up for our great state with all of the tragedy.

I remember listening to the radio, Friday nights and hearing them talk about this kid from Easley named CJ. Always knew a kid named CJ, playing RB at Clemson would be special.
What a devastating and untimely loss of Clemson’s former runningback, CJ Fuller, today. He was so young. CJ’s contribution to the Tigers’ national championship season in 2016 will always be cherished by our Clemson family. Praying for peace & strength for CJ’s family & friends.

I didn’t cover C.J. Fuller for very long at Clemson but he was supremely polite, always respectful and seemed like a great, loyal teammate. Your heart breaks for his family.
I’m not sure they are even on twitter right now, but to the current Clemson players that follow me - I love you, we have your back, stay strong & fight hard. God gives his toughest battles to His strongest soldiers.
Sometimes I have to take the time to remind myself nothing in this life is guaranteed.. and to be thankful everyday just to wake up.
