Swinney hilariously trolls NCSU over laptop-gate

by - Assoc. Editor -

Clemson coach Dabo Swinney spoke to the media during his Tuesday press conference and shared his thoughts on the stolen towels by Bradley Chubb on his quarterback and the 'illegal' laptop investigation during Clemson's 38-31 win over North Carolina State over the weekend.

"I had no clue. I knew it wasn't anything to do with football," Swinney said about the rogue laptop. "But I did investigate. I did. I followed instructions to do some investigation. And it turns out was just a major crisis going on. A young guy trying to help a team in need. And I think trying to be helpful in a situation and trying to get in touch with Amazon. We had a crisis. We were in dire need of towels. We were trying to get one of those drones to come in and drop some towels on the sideline. It just didn't work out."

Swinney then pondered what defender Bradley Chubb does with his accumulation of stolen towels.

"On that I want to launch an investigation too," Swinney joked. "What do they do with those towels? Is it a towel Hall of Fame?"
