NC State Coach wants investigation on Clemson using laptops on the sidelines |
North Carolina State head coach Dave Doeren spoke to reporters after his team's disappointing 38-31 loss to No. 4 ranked Clemson on Saturday.
Doeren appeared extremely salty during the postgame press conference and asked why Clemson had a laptop (social-media purposes) on the sideline implying that the Tigers could be cheating. "I'd like to know why there was a laptop on Clemson's sideline, too," Doeren said. "I'd like that to be investigated. Maybe they weren't doing anything but I was told it was illegal to have technology on the sideline so I would like to know that as well." Dabo on laptop: “Ha ha ha.” Clemson SID said it belonged to member of school’s social media team. Reaction -- LOL...Come on Doeren. Keep it classy after a difficult loss. The Clemson staff was probably just using the laptops to try to find all the missing towels that Chubbs was taking from Bryant throughout the game. #NCState's Dave Doeren on officiating: "I wish it was better." Here is a picture of a laptop being used for Clemson's editing purposes during the Virginia Tech game. Action shot of @Andy___Turner editing in-game. He had that 85-sec high-quality feature exported/uploaded within 10 min of final whistle. ?? pic.twitter.com/t6ec41ZrQQ From ACC: League satisfied with Clemson explanation of laptop situation. Rules allow it to be there if not used for coaching. Matter closed. Check out more from Doeren's press conference below:
