Kirk Herbstreit has Clemson in his Top 4

by - Assoc. Editor -

ESPN analyst and college football commentator Kirk Herbstreit released his top four schools on Twitter on Sunday morning and had a top four of Alabama, Georgia, Notre Dame, and Clemson after week nine action.

His next two schools were Oklahoma and Miami in his personal rankings. There will be a possible shakeup in his rankings as Miami and Notre Dame will faceoff in a primetime matchup next Saturday in Coral Gables. ESPN's College GameDay will be in town to watch to see if Miami will remain undefeated and possibly move up into the top four of the college football rankings. The loser of this game will more than likely be out of contention for one of those four coveted playoff spots.

Before the season, Herbstreit had Alabama, Ohio State, Florida State, and USC as his four preseason picks to make the upcoming college football playoff. These are some rough picks with only Alabama hanging on currently in the Top 4 rankings.

No. 4 ranked Clemson won 38-31 against No. 20 North Carolina State on Saturday afternoon.

Here are some other college football analyst's top picks on Sunday.
