Former Clemson WR named to Pro Bowl

Former Clemson receiver DeAndre Hopkins was selected to his second career Pro Bowl on Tuesday.

Hopkins is coming off setting the Houston Texans' single-season touchdown record for the second time in his career (12), totaling 92 receptions for 1,313 yards. According to the Texans, he is one of six players in NFL history to post those numbers through his team’s first 14 games and the second youngest. He ranks first in the NFL in targets (168), tied for fourth in receptions, second in receiving yards, first in receiving touchdowns and second in receiving first downs with 66.

He has an NFL-best 11 games with 70-or-more receiving yards and an NFL-best nine games with seven-or-more receptions. Hopkins has caught a touchdown in an NFL-high and franchise-record nine different games this season and has five games with over 100 yards receiving.

The game will be played in Orlando's Camping World Stadium at 3 p.m. on Jan. 28.
