Former Clemson defensive tackle Albert Huggins announced that he will be participating in the NFL draft combine.

"I know I am a little late posting this but I am happy to say that I got invited to Indy for the NFL Combine," Huggins posted on Twitter. "Blessings continue to fall in my lap and all I have to do is take advantage of my opportunity."

Huggins, an Orangeburg native, stepped in as a starter during the College Football Playoff, totaling five of his tackles in those games in the National Championship versus Alabama. He posted 30 stops (3.5 for loss) over 408 snaps this season and tallied 83 tackles over 911 snaps as a Tiger.

Huggins and the rest of the defensive line group will be in Indianapolis for the event from Feb. 28-March 3, where on March 3 Huggins will compete in drills.

The full NFL draft combine list has not been released yet.
