Deshaun Watson's NFL jersey sales in Top 5

Tony Crumpton Tony Crumpton - Assoc. Editor -

Former Clemson quarterback Deshaun Watson was selected #12 overall in the first round of the 2017 NFL draft by the Houston Texans. As soon as that happened, the Clemson faithful and fans around the country have been buying up Deshaun Watson NFL jerseys in large amounts.

In the latest NFL jersey sales for the month of May, Watson was ranked #5 overall behind only running back Marshawn Lynch, quarterback Tom Brady, quarterback Dak Prescott, and running back Ezekiel Elliot.

Watson was the only rookie with jersey sales in the Top 25.

In 2016, Watson completed 388 passes out of 579 attempts for 4593 yards and 41 passing touchdowns with 17 interceptions for an adjusted QBR of 84.9.

One other interesting tidbit is that 49ers' Colin Kaepernick jersey is selling at #17 overall even though he is not on a current NFL roster.
