Chubb on stealing towels: "I do that every week" |
North Carolina State defensive end Bradley Chubb loves to steal towels from confused quarterbacks on the gridiron.
Why does he do it? Chubb told reporters on Thursday that he is just trying to get in the head of fragile quarterbacks and he is not ashamed that he does it each week. "I do that every week,” Chubb said about stealing towels via The News & Observer. "I’ve got film from Syracuse, Notre Dame, all that. I do it every week; the camera just caught me this week." Chubb wants the quarterback to get distracted by the thievery and maybe they won't play up to their abilities. "As a quarterback, the first thing you do before you hike the ball is wipe your hands on the towel," Chubb said. "If I take that away from you, that’s one thing you’re thinking about: Where’s my towel? Who keeps taking my towel? "It’s just mind games." Chubb had eight tackles and three stolen towels against Clemson. Kelly Bryant didn't mind all of Chubb's antics as he thought it was somewhat funny. “Man, he owes me some towels. He was taking them,” Bryant told TigerNet after Clemson's 38-31 win. “I guess it was just something that he was doing. I thought it was kind of funny, but I was just trying to hold on to my towels.” Someone had to teach this man @ASTROCHUBB a lesson #SaveTheTowels @espn pic.twitter.com/1aqoaCX1sh
