Had 18 receptions and seven touchdowns as a senior at Raines High School...one of at least six players in his senior class to sign with Division I teams, as Raines High had one of the most talented senior classes in the country in '98 according to SuperPrep...Honorable Mention All-American according to Southeastern Recruiting Alliance...lettered three times in football...coached by Welton Coffey at Raines High School...lettered in track as well...won the state championship in the long jump as a junior with a leap of 23'-6"...state runner-up in the high jump as a junior with a jump of 6'-7"...also anchored the state champion 4x100 (40.86s) and 4x400 (3:21) relay teams as a junior to help garner All-State honors...from the same high school as former Tigers and current NFL players Brian Dawkins (1992-95) and Patrick Sapp (1992-95), and former All-ACC Tiger Terrance Roulhac (1983-86)...also from the same high school as current Tiger defensive back Darrel Crutchfield and receiver Rod Gardner...chose Clemson over Alabama, Syracuse, and Virginia...PERSONAL: Born Nov. 22, 1980.
