Arriving only 24 hours early barely accounts for "Jet lag" & walk-thru in the stadium. Fly home immediately after game? I would think 2 nights before game & night after game. We can afford it; especially after we win!!

My thing about us being in the playoffs is this just for the sake of mentioning it. Let's say that we play and win ever how many games we would have to win to become National Champions, my question would be, has this team played anything like a National Championship team should have played like and wear the rings that say they are National Champions? My answer would be no we haven't. The team that we've seen all season looks nothing close to being what a National Champion team should've looked or played like over the entire season, just my opinion...

Bottom of 9th. Score tied.

4 consecutive Clemson batters get hit by pitch.

Does Clemson win ?

There is no opportunity to win a championship in this game. No orange britches.

Sounds like making the first round of the playoffs but not winning is less rewarding than schools who didn't make the playoffs and get to play in lucrative bowls.

My suspicions appear to be correct, in that there is no reward. Maybe some new shirts and track suits with the playoff logo, but other than that, there is none. The way to look at it is a play-in game for the reward aka business trip.
I predict white Jersey (with playoff logo) and orange pants.

I would almost guarantee we will in this game. Every playoff game is like a mini championship, do or die type game.

I’m praying Dabo makes a good business decision and jump off the Mafah wagon. Love the kid but the quick pitch to a S-L-O-W running back and going to him on short yardage has cost us dearly. Cost us at Pitt, cost us vs coots multiple times and it will cost us & get embarrassing vs Texas.
Dabo’s loyalty is his downfall.
Much like with DJU
Not having or using other RB’s is unacceptable. I have a hard time believing Dabo when he says Coach Riley agrees with “the call”
quick pitch call to mafah to race to the edge on 4th & 1. Sssssssllllloooow as }#%^*

Slow is not as much of a problem as something else.

Questionable coaching by our offensive staff was, on a play deep 8n the red zone, a problem.

For us, there were 4 players in the right side of the line: RG, RT, TE, and WR. SMU had six (6) defenders facing us. When the toss went to Mafah, the SMU defender guarding our WR came crashing in. This changed the math to three blockers facing six defenders.

I don’t care if Larry Allen at RG, Eric Williams at RT, and Gronkowski at TE, they are not going to block 6 defenders.

??? Why are our offensive staff coaches so unprepared? Had they never built a simple audible for CK2 to call and redirect the short yardage run to the other side?

Of course our toss to Mafah had failed. While it probably would have failed if SMU only had four defenders (because Mafah has been running so tentatively, why guarantee that the play would fail even if CJ Spiiler the Younger himself had carried the ball?

Garrett Riley continues to concern me. I hope he’s learned something by the start of next season.

I like what you're saying there but I'm not sure Dabo isn't the one calling that play himself.
