Losing 6 through decommitment has to hurt our team especially when everyone of them were high 4 star recruits. That kind of loss would even hurt a Saban Bama team!!!

Yes. His job has changed dramatically in last 3-4 years. $11 million per year doesn’t change that. He has to navigate through totally different landscape now.

It really hurts to have 6 de-commits for any team. But when your coach doesn’t replenish with players from the portal to compensate those losses. Well, you’re going nowhere fast.

But I tell you this the game can’t survive the portal the way it works now!
It will not survive the unfettered pay for play with no rules ! It will not survive NIL and its current format!
The only hope CFB has is Dabo Sweeney and hopefully some more coaches will act like adults and not worry about what know it all know nothing greedy people think!
No one is going to watch and nobody wants to pay for it!
If I want pay for play I can watch NFL and they definitely have rules that do not just favor the players! But the team as well!
BTW where is the portal team that is winning so much? There isn’t one!

Hate to say, but it's the Wild West and we're acting like we're "back East". Maybe we can tempt some recruits with the claim to old man Calhoun's gold mine in Dahlonega. Then again, he never did make much money from it- even with TG Clemson personally supervising the mine.
