I've always considered Rivals to be the gold standard, but the way they weight their rankings toward large classes has made me change my mind lately.
Anyone with the slightest bit of logic can look at this class and see that we got exactly who we wanted and what we needed at pretty much every position.
We have 84 quality players on scholarship and the vast majority of them are either starters or will compete to start at some point. Very few will leave the program and almost all of them will contribute in some form or fashion.

They rank South Carolina at #19 ?
Overall ? That is a bit of a stretch, ain't it ?

But, they know muschump will "coach them up " like he did at UF. Yep! I'm pretty sure that's just what he'll do, and it won't work at usuc either.

Honestly, this is the least amount of real estate USuC has had in my head since I have been alive...I couldn't care less if they had the #1 class, Im just as concerned about, say Oregon as I am them at this point..they're irrelevant

I feel like this class of 14 will produce a large amount of victories for our program. Don't understand ( unless they cut people) how programs recuit so many every year. GO TIGERS!

A former player for a large traditional power program said -

I believe the school was either Ohio State or Alabama.
Obviously, that philosophy has worked for those schools over the years, but Dabo's methodology at Clemson certainly offers an alternative way of achieving the same degree of success.
I'm proud to be associated with a coach who doesn't see a high school kid as a disposable commodity and who strives to select recruits based on character traits as much as skill sets.
It's evident that a lot of top players (and their parents) feel the same way!
Go Tigers!!

. . . are the ones like that QB trainwreck Kelly!!! I don't care who you are, you have to admit we were much, much better off without his sorry butt!

Thinking the Chad Kelly / Mike Bellamy situations may have

... may have been a good learning experience for Dabo as a young first time head coach trying to refine his overall philosophy.

They were good lessons for our players on how not to act, as well. Great learning moments for all, and hopefully both those guys learned something from it, as well, in the end.
