little overboard with their use of descriptive adjectives. "Elite RB"? C'mon. I was excited to click on the article to see we had just landed a top 30 player in the nation when instead I'm met with a RB who's barely top 30 at his position, which is great to be excited about in its own right but is not the same as notching a verbal commit from an legitimately elite player. Clemson had an elite running back; he decommitted.

some instances, having 5 star recruits doesn't always translate to winning more games. As mentioned before, we have gotten our share of 2-4 star players who turned out to be game changers. Then when you look at someone like Bellamy, you begin to see that stars do not tell everything...especially about character.
I will say that I am confused about the rankings of someone like Fuller vs. Choice. Fuller's video seems much more impressive to me than Choice but I'm unsure of the level of competition their respective schools are competing against. Fact is, the coaches are only going to offer someone who will work in our system. I'm just glad to see us go after more backs that are endowed with speed and are at or past the 200 lb msrk...

in college and is a top recruit in the state and nation. I watch him play every friday night and I'm very high on him myself, but Adam is not the top rb in the state yet. He may be after the season is over, but not at the moment. Sometimes rankings don't mean much though.
