ALWAYS acceptable. Period.
I don't care what sport, I enjoy their pain. I never want them to win ANYTHING. Clemson doesn't even have a softball team, but I take pleasure in seeing usc lose in that sport.
All you girly Clemson fans brainwashed by the Barker "Sportmanship Initiative" can do whatever makes you feel like a better person. Personally, I'm fine with my self esteem.
I HATE usc!!!!! I hope they never win another #### event.

Was I jealous? Never have been never will be. What is/was there to be jealous of?
I hate them because:
* Their fans are some of the lowest class rednecks I have ever seen and make our entire state look bad.
* They live off their conference reputation instead of their own.
* Their academics are a joke and I really resent my tax dollars going to pay for the likes of Alvin Greene to get a "diploma" from that mill.
* They have the only law school in this state so through the legislature get an unfair advantage - but because of their ineptitude, we are still a better school and the gap has actually widened. Another reason I resent my taxes going to them.
I don't see the above changing anytime soon so whether we win or lose (or they do) I will continue to hate them and hope they lose at everything single thing they do.

I hated them way long before they won their second ever 4 straight. And long before Ray Tanner knew who the coots were. Jealous, I think not. I choose my emotions deliberately, and hating the coots is one of my deliberate emotions
