I have never seen Clemson fans, and I have been one since

1972, crazier than they are now. Never.

I see irritional,uninformed posts. I see angry, hateful posts. I see desparing posts. I see posts that blame any and everyone. And I see posts attacking the spirit of Clemson and dividing the fans. And all of these have reached a panic like intensity as if the world is ending. These posts don't sound like the confident, determined Clemson fans I grew up with. I realize that there are issues with our football team and the admin that has stirred emotions on many sides.

Nonetheless, all sides, please, release the fear you have. Your fear is driving this wild panic. Calm down, and realize what will be -- will be. Some good and some bad. We ALL want the best for Clemson and sometimes we get good news and good results. Sometimes we don't--but even then it is OUR CHOICE how we respond to events and show others who are not Clemson fans how we respond to events.

Players pick Clemson. Players pick other schools. Coaches leave Clemson. Clemson hires new coaches. The cycle goes on. Dabo will do what he has to do whatever Morris decides. But to work ourselves into a frenzy over events that have not occurred and to think negatively about almost every event's outcomes is pure maddness. If Morris dosen't come it is not the end of the world. We go in another direction, confidently and hopeful.

We have to be like the calvary in the Old West. We think we are all going on a pleasant escort of the stagecoach. Who told those Indians to attack? O'kay now we have to change direction. It's not what we wanted but we respond. It happens. But we don't let the fear of the attack overwhelm us. We gear up and march on.

Come on Tigernation, man up, stop the craziness, and let's march on.
