Let's not drag JD under the bus like we have with Mays too

Feb 20, 2008, 12:43 PM

All Mays did was come back to a wonderful instituion, to play for this team. He would easily been a 2nd round NBA draft pick had he left last year. Is he playing well? NO. But the guy's out there giving it his all playing at about 70%. Unfortunately, he took a gamble, and injuries will probably cost him millions.

If for some awful reason JD gets injured, I hope we don't drag him under the bus too. These kids LOVE this university, and deserve our respect.

Agreed. The entire team feed off of those three players. Not a coincidence that when they had a bad game, that everyone else followed suit.

wasn't trying to drag Mays under the bus. I was simply making an observation. Mays is definitely a beast on the defensive end.
