Prayer Request, please

Five days ago, Tracy Connelly, a senior at Clemson, died in a car accident. She was from Andrews, SC, so some of you might know her family consideirng it's a small town.

Tracy was my RA my the summer of my freshman year at Clemson, and we became great friends from that point on. She was a biosystems engineering major with a bioengineering emphasis. While she was entirely too modest to express her grades with us (we used to joke about how smart she was), I know that she maintained a near 4.0 throughout her entire collegiate career.

She was the most ginuine person I've ever known. She never strayed from her morals (which were squeeky clean), and she always, always, always stood by her principals.

Tracy had the opportunity to leave Clemson. She had a bioengineering job waiting for her, and the company offering the job told her the job was permenantly hers whenever she wanted it. Tracy, however, turned it down. She could have graduated Clemson a full year ahead of schedule, and she decided to remain behind because, "I love being at this school so much," as she told me 3 days before her death.

Tracy was the sweetest, smartest, most hard-working little country girl, and the Clemson family lost one of their very, very, very best last week.

That's South Carolina football in a nutshell."

Sounds like it was a blessing just to know her.
