Louzeimers settling in?

Aug 28, 2004, 2:29 AM

Lou also said his son, who was grading film and wasn't available for
comment after the scrimmage, helped right the offense in moments of
"confusion" Friday, much of which the elder Holtz blamed on himself.

"Right now we need a 40-second clock, not a 25. If we had 40 we
wouldn't have any confusion," Lou Holtz said. "He's (Skip) so much
sharper than I am. I'm serious. He must have corrected me 50 times today, at
least 50, which is why there was some confusion. He said we don't have that one.
That's what we called it at Notre Dame."

Coot fans, you better hope Lou wasn't serious about doing all the play calling himself or you will have to face another long season. It looks like to me senility is settling in because the old man is definitely losing it.

I will wipe from the face of the earth the human race I have created, and with them the animals,
The birds and the creatures that move along the ground, for I regret that I have made them.

he has lost it, then BLAM! another national championship. Then again, four times a day I can't remember where I put my glasses, so who knows?

Another National Championship?......

I can believe Lou might be "poor mouthing" his team, but telling the press your mental abilites have lessened is a two edged sword. And if I was a fan of his whether it's true or not I certainly wouldn't have told everybody.

Lou win another National Championship? ROFLMAO. At South Carolina? ROFLMAO. OK so he promised one on his arrival and he's won one before, but since the last Outback Bowl Lou's magic appears to be gone.
