A young Tiger fan dead at the age of 20!

A close friend of mine paid the ultimate price Monday by losing his life while serving his country over in Afghanistan. He was a great kid and a loyal Tiger fan. When he was home for Thanksgiving he always had on a Clemson shirt and he loved the Tigers. I'm 36 and I see this kid as a baby. But he died to give us our freedom and I call him a hero now. He is now with my Heavenly Father in no pain and will have the best seat in the house next Wednesday night when the Tigers take the field. Please say a prayer for the family as they come to grips with this haunting news and reality.

Prayers to this young man and his family in their time of loss and sorrow!! No matter our personal thoughts on the war and like, we should never not support and pray for our soliders. For if it were not for them, WE WOULD NOT HAVE THE FREEDOM TO FEEL ONE WAY OR THE OTHER ABOUT THE WAR!! I always take the time to tell any serviceman or woman thank you when I see them out and about!! I have taught my kids to do the same. Thank you to this young man and to all of our service people for all that they do! Go TIGERS!

As im in the military myself I can honestly say that I just had to set my laptop down and get a hold of my emotions, and yes I did shed a tear for my brother, He was my brother in arms and brother in the tiger nation.. Sir you are truely blessed to have known this fine young man and please know that I have prayed for him and his family 5 times before I wrote this, I am 29 and have a 6 month old and I can only imagine how my family and daughter would feel if this happened to me. Please tell his family that I will be thinking of them and praying for them many more times. May god bless his soul!!

I'm 26 and without children, but it brings tears to my eyes to think of the shocking, horrible, saddening, defeating, crushing moment for any parent when they see that army vehicle pull up and a couple of uniformed men walking towards the front door to deliver the worst news you could ever hear in you life.
I hope the best for his family and trust this young man is in a better place.

To everyone that has taken the time to pray and think about this young man, let me say thank you. Every Sunday at church he always had a smile. He did what he wanted to do and he fought for freedom, for America, for you. He said on Skype 3 days before he died to tell everyone than no matter what his tour brought, he was not a hero. He was just doing what he always wanted to do. I salute him in his bravery and would love to hug my friend and brother just one more time! God bless everyone.
